Our annual Taniwha Challenge event is now finished and what an amazing event it was!

We welcomed 12 schools, 600 tamariki and 200 teaching staff and whanau who came to support.

This year’s event was one of our biggest Taniwha Challenge events yet!

Despite a few showers throughout the day the vibe was positive, the sportmanship top notch and the cheering was heard loud and clear through the valley!

Congratulations to Maungatapere who took out the Taniwha Challenge Shield this year! Well done to all our amazing participants.

We have already begun planning next year’s event. We will see you all in 2026!
