This year we welcomed 12 kura to the Taniwha Challenged held here in our valley. Close to 600 tamariki participated and over 200 staff and whanau came to support. It was a fantastic day of whanaungatanga, sportsmanship and being together. Nga mihi to all those that participated and helped to make this event a successful one!
Tu'i Patolo-Tipene was our Term 3 local Duffy Role Model. Tu'i is a weightlifter who recently represented New Zealand at the 2025 Pacific Mini Games in Palau. She was flag-bearer and won bronze at the games.
Everyone is talking about AI, but very few are actually using it effectively. At this roadshow we were shown practical applications that we could use to impact workload and save time. As a staff we look forward to incorporating some of the applications into our classrooms and mahi to hopefully get better outcomes for our tamariki.
