Here at Te Horo School we encourage our kaiako to take part in professional development opportunities. Attending and engaging in ongoing professional development helps teachers meet professional standards, respond to cultural and societal needs, enhance student outcomes, and grow in their own careers. In a system shaped by Te Tiriti o Waitangi and dedicated to equity, inclusion, and excellence, professional development is not just a requirement—it’s a responsibility and a pathway to transformation. This year our staff have taken part in many professional development events and here are just some of them!
